As reported in the book “Cathy Moulton Missing/Endangered” by ex-cop Kevin Cady and Bill Meltzer, student (CO-ED) Cathy Moulton was kidnapped on September 24, 1971 near Forest Avenue in Portland, Maine, in Cumberland County and famous for the Munjoy Hill Observatory and its location close to the water. The official investigation essentially started very late, when Cady investigated the case starting in the 1990s. The prime suspect was photographer Chris Church, who had taken shots of the victim and this may have caused interest from the real killers, always attentive to the world of photography. Suspicions then focused on Lester Everett (boyfriend of the victim who had stolen a Cadillac right around the time of her disappearance) and Reid Perley, both seen in the company of the victim after her disappearance. Everett would pick up potatoes in Mars Hill in Maine near Bangor nd then leave Cathy to the Perleys in Tobique First Nation in New Brunswick, Canada. Basing on the testimonies collected by Cady, there would have been disagreements between Perley and Everett, someone would have seen Perley drag a corpse near the Saint John river and the cemetery of Saint'Ann Parish, in a street that on the map generates a Algiz, the ancient Z, formed in this case by extremes of water. A skull would also have been found years later, but there is no material evidence of this. The indigenous community is very closed off and doesn't talk much to the police, there are unconfirmed rumors of a suicide by firearm by a member of the Perley family and the presence of a body in the basement of one of their homes. The story should be analyzed in depth to understand if the Perleys were involved in the CIA's MKULTRA project, which also included the then Canadian Premier Pierre Trudeau. In the following years the CID was involved to support the investigation and the Boston psychic Gladys Rogers emerged, who madly claimed that the killer was Roy Moulton, Cathy's father, a resident of 102 Clinton Street, bordering Florence Street. The references to the team of the Zodiac group and the monster of Florence are not accidental, as Moulton indicated to Joyce a hole at the intersection of Forest Avenue and Riverside Street, owned by J.B. Brown Company. To complete the work, all that was missing was a copy in full view of James Joyce's "Ulysses". Cathy had a sister named Pamela and relates to what the Zodiac Killer wrote in reference to "Pam" on the Udine wall after the murder of Irene Belletti. This is a continuation of Riverside's Confession Letter with victim Cheri Jo Bates, as in 1973 Judy Campbell was killed in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with a clean throat cut in the style of 1921 "Z" magazine, a reference to the events of Riverside. Perley was arrested for the crime, who was not collaborating with the investigators. The details are too sketchy, but it's hard to believe this is a copycat killer, especially in the hometown of Peter Howard Denton of the Boston Strangler gang (source: David McGowan). Putting the pieces together, the Cumberland factor had already appeared in the previous Canadian murder with victim Mary Ann Plett, in which the Zodiac Killer George Hill Hodel had used a modus operandi similar to that used in the murder of Gladys Kern, under the alias James Cooper. Another witness suspected instead of Ivan Perley, nicknamed "Ivan the rapist", from whose house Cathy allegedly left between November 24 and 25, 1971, during a snowstorm. This is the same day on which Hodel in D.B. Cooper allegedly hijacked the plane, exactly 2 months after Cathy's abduction. Come riportato dal libro “Cathy Moulton Missing/Endangered” dell’ex poliziotto Kevin Cady e di Bill Meltzer, la studentessa (CO-ED) Cathy Moulton è stata rapita il 24 settembre 1971 nei pressi di Forest Avenue a Portland,città situata nel Maine nella contea di Cumberland e famosa per l’osservatorio di Munjoy Hill e per la propria posizione a ridosso dell’acqua. Le indagini ufficiali sono essenzialmente partite molto tardi, quando Cady si è preso a cuore il caso a partire dagli anni ’90. Il primo sospettato era il fotografo Chris Church, che aveva eseguito degli scatti alla vittima e ciò poteva aver causato dell’interesse da parte dei veri sicari, sempre attenti al mondo della fotografia. I sospetti si sono poi concentrati su Lester Everett (fidanzato della vittima che aveva rubato una Cadillac proprio nel periodo della scomparsa) e su Reid Perley, entrambi visti in compagnia della vittima dopo la sua scomparsa. Everett avrebbe raccolto patate nel Maine nei pressi di Bangor e di Mars (Marte) Hill per poi lasciare Cathy ai Perley nella Tobique First Nation nel New Brunswick in Canada. In base alle testimonianze raccolte da Cady, ci sarebbero poi stati dei dissidi fra Perley ed Everett, qualcuno avrebbe visto Perley trascinare un cadavere nei pressi del fiume Saint John e del cimitero di Sant’Ann Parish,in una via che sulla mappa genera un’Algiz, la Z antica, formata in questo caso da estremi d’acqua. A distanza di anni sarebbe anche stato trovato un teschio, ma non ci sono prove materiali di questo. La comunità indigena è molto chiusa e non parla molto con la polizia, ci sono voci non confermate su un suicidio con arma da fuoco da parte di un membro della famiglia Perley e sulla presenza di un cadavere nel seminterrato di una delle loro abitazioni. La vicenda andrebbe analizzata a fondo per capire se i Perley sono stati coinvolti nel progetto MKULTRA della CIA, di cui faceva parte anche l’allora Premier canadese Pierre Trudeau. Negli anni seguenti è stato coinvolto il CID per supportare le indagini ed emerge la sensitiva di Boston Gladys Rogers, che sosteneva follemente che l’assassino fosse Roy Moulton, il padre di Cathy, residente al 102 di Clinton Street, confinante con Florence Street. I riferimenti al team del gruppo Zodiac e del mostro di Firenze non sono casuali, in quanto la Moulton indicava a Joyce come luogo di occultamento del cadavere una buca nell’intersezione fra Forest Avenue e Riverside Street, di proprietà della J.B. Brown Company. Per completare l’opera, mancava soltanto una copia in bella vista dell’”Ulisse” di James Joyce. Cathy aveva una sorella di nome Pamela e si ricollega a quanto scritto dallo Zodiac Killer in riferimento a “Pam” sul muro di Udine dopo l’omicidio di Irene Belletti. Si tratta di un proseguo alla Confession Letter di Riverside con vittima Cheri Jo Bates, in quanto nel 1973 Judy Campbell è stata uccisa a Cambridge nel Massachussets, con un netto taglio alla gola in stile rivista “Z” del 1921, un richiamo ai fatti di Riverside. Per il crimine è stato arrestato Perley, che non è collaborativo con gli inquirenti. I dettagli sono troppo scarni, ma è difficile pensare che si tratti di un copycat killer, specialmente nella città natia di Peter Howard Denton della banda dello strangolatore di Boston (fonte: David McGowan). Mettendo assieme i pezzi, il fattore Cumberland era già apparso nel precedente omicidio canadese con vittima Mary Ann Plett, in cui lo Zodiac Killer George Hill Hodel aveva utilizzato un modus operandi simile a quello utilizzato nell’omicidio di Gladys Kern, con lo pseudonimo di James Cooper. Un’altra testimone sospetta invece di Ivan Perley, soprannominato “Ivan lo stupratore”, dalla cui casa sarebbe uscita Cathy fra il 24 ed il 25 novembre 1971, durante una tempesta di neve. Trattasi del medesimo giorno in cui Hodel in versione D.B. Cooper avrebbe dirottato l’aereo, a 2 mesi esatti dal rapimento di Cathy. Non si tratta di coincidenze, a maggior ragione se per la legge dantesca del contrappasso Forest Ray Moulton era un astronomo che aveva formulato la congettura sulla formazione del sistema solare in cui compare l’effetto marea, facendo nascere i planetesimi, alla base della formazione di asteroidi, fra cui figurano quelli troiani. Ulisse vinse la Guerra di Troia grazie al celebre cavallo. Chi si stava addentrando nella realtà della comunità canadese come Barry Paul è stato trovato morto in un auto carbonizzata nel 1997, silenziato molto probabilmente da Edward Burns Edwards del gruppo Zodiac.
