On September 27, 1969, the Zodiac killer went to Lake Berryessa. The location was chosen, as it was named after the first settlers, namely José Jesús and Sexto "Sisto" Berrelleza. In the area there is the Rancho Los Putas. The killer showed up in a costume, inspired by the Australian criminal Ned Kelly, complete with sunglasses at 06:30 in the morning. According to the testimony of survivor Bryan Hartnell, the killer reported that he escaped from a prison in Montana (Deer Lodge) and was headed to Mexico. The description seems to trace the life path of Edward Edwards, who at the time, however, lived with an Italian-American in San Francisco, as reported by the witness Margot Burns. He identifies himself well with the Italian -American mentioned above and he also used the costume during the escalation of the monster of Florence. The obsession with water also explains the use of a clothesline rope to tie the victims. Having been in Vietnam during the war, moreover Ulysses was perfectly capable of hitting Bryan in non-vital places, making him survive despite the fact that the ambulance took absurdly more than an hour to arrive, as reported by David McGowan. The female victim (Cecilia Shepard) had instead died, but as always reported by McGowan, it is strange that the gun-toting killer preferred the knife, evidently he wanted someone to survive in order to make the headlines in the newspapers. The attack took place exactly 81 years after the letter from Jack the Ripper "Dear Boss", in which he reports that people think he is a doctor and that he would have used red ink, sending a piece of the ear’s victim to the police. Not surprisingly, the killer's path ended up in Knoxville Road, moreover the area is hilly, as shown in the video on Youtube at the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O9BYd50JzRo. The reference to Knoxville is a reference to the 1968 crime of Rose Busch, by George Hill Hodel and Edward Edwards. Not surprisingly, Hodel used red ink on the victims' VW Karmann Ghia and had already starred together with Fred Sexton (resident in Mexico) in the murders of the Chicago Lipstick Killer, sending a piece of ear to the mother of one of the victims. The Berryessa operation was therefore performed by several men, all members of the Zodiac group. The reference to the Doctor also reappears in the 1939 film "Charlie Chan and Treasure Island", in which the serial killer is Dr. Zodiac. Hodel was present on the island during the filming and it is no coincidence that Arthur Leigh Allen (the pedophile and main suspect according to the official investigation) reported to policeman Dave Toschi that he was on Treasure Island with 2 soldiers while the crime was taking place. These are subliminal messages, but that's not all. On the same day in Lowell, Massachussets, John Joseph McCabe was killed, kidnapped and strangled after attending a party of the Knights of Columbus, who own an important building in Manila, where Hodel resided. In fact, the Karmann factor is linked to Alexandria Carmania, the land discovered by Jane Britton, a Harvard student killed in January 1969 by prof. Lamberg-Karlovsky. Additionally, Lowell's murder took place on Maple Street near Lincoln Street. The following day, Pastor Bruce Johnson and Marjorie Johnson were killed in Lincoln Park in Chicago. On September 29th the film about the sadistic Marquis De Sade was released. Hodel will certainly have enjoyed watching the work on one of his idols, therefore he surely wento to the cinema. Keir Dullea appears in the film, who had already starred in "2001: A Space Odyssey", with references to the Space Odyssey. The film is produced by Samuel Z. Arkoff, former producer of the “Holidays on the Beach” series, which had already inspired the Zodiac group (see Gaviota's crime of 1963). John Huston also appears in the film, who together with Hodel and Sexton composed the 3 Amigos. In the late evening of September 27, an anonymous telephone operator (certainly Hodel) had called from a car wash to sign the Berryessa operation and to anticipate the subsequent crime, namely that of the taxi driver Paul Stine, in the hilly area of the Presidium in San Francisco, which features references to the military and to Washington and Maple streets. The link between Washington and Maple is linked not only to San Francisco, but also to the murder of Elizabeth Short in Los Angeles, as carefully documented by super-cop Steve Hodel. It should also be borne in mind that Nasario Antonio "José" Berryessa served as a soldier at the San Francisco Presidio military base from 1819 to 1824.__

Avendo fatto il Vietnam, inoltre Ulisse era perfettamente in grado di colpire Bryan in punti non vitali, facendolo sopravvivere nonostante l’ambulanza ci abbia messo assurdatamente più di un’ora ad arrivare, come riportato da David McGowan. La vittima femminile (Cecilia Shepard) è invece deceduta, ma come riferito sempre da McGowan, fa strano che il killer armato di pistola abbia preferito il coltello, evidentemente voleva che qualcuno sopravvivesse al fine di finire in prima pagina sui giornali. L’attentato è avvenuto a distanza di 81 anni esatti dalla lettera di Jack lo squartatore “Dear Boss”, in cui riferisce che la gente lo ritiene un medico e che avrebbe utilizzato l’inchiostro rosso, inviando un pezzo di orecchio alla polizia. Non a caso, Hodel usa l’inchiostro rosso sulla VW Karmann Ghia delle vittime e si era già reso protagonista assieme a Fred Sexton (residente in Messico) dei delitti del Killer del Rossetto di Chicago, inviando un pezzo di orecchio alla madre di una delle vittime. L’operazione del Berryessa è quindi stata eseguita da più uomini, tutti membri del gruppo Zodiac. Il riferimento al Dottore ricompare anche nel film “Charlie Chan e l’isola del Tesoro” del 1939, in cui il serial killer è il Dr. Zodiac. Hodel era presente nell’isola durante le riprese e non a caso Arthur Leigh Allen (il pedofilo e principale sospettato secondo l’indagine ufficiale) riferisce al poliziotto Dave Toschi di essere stato all’Isola del tesoro con 2 militari mentre avveniva il delitto. Si tratta di messaggi subliminali, ma non è tutto. Nel film appare Keir Dullea, che aveva già recitato in “2001: A Space Odyssey”, con riferimenti all’Odissea spaziale. Il film è prodotto da Samuel Z. Arkoff, già produttore della serie “Vacanze sulla spiaggia”, a cui si era già ispirato il gruppo Zodiac (vedi delitto di Gaviota del 1963). Nel film appare inoltre John Huston, che assieme a Hodel e Sexton componeva i 3 Amigos. Nella tarda serata del 27 settembre, un anonimo telefonista (di certo Hodel) aveva chiamato da un autolavaggio (Car Wash) per firmare l’operazione del Berryessa e per anticipare il successivo delitto, ossia quello del tassista Paul Stine, nella zona collinare del Presidio di San Francisco, in cui compaiono riferimenti all’esercito e alle strade Washington e Maple. Il legame fra Washington e Maple si ricollega non solo a San Francisco, ma anche all’omicidio di Elizabeth Short a Los Angeles, come accuratamente documentato dal superpoliziotto Steve Hodel. Da tenere in considerazione anche che Nasario Antonio “José” Berryessa ha fatto il militare alla base militare San Francisco Presidio dal 1819 al 1824.
