WHO KILLED JAY COOK & TANYA VON CUYLENBORG?

The two had moved from Port Victoria in Canada with the Ford Club van with the intention of going to Seattle to buy some parts (an oven, apparently) from the supplier Gensco Heating for Cook's father's business (Cook and Talbot Heating Specialists), after boarding 2 Black Ball Line MV Coho ferries equipped with Cooper-Bessemer engines. Tanya was the son of a lawyer and worked at the British restaurant Pickwicks in Vancouver and loved to travel the world (source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4SgdPLzpw4 ), while Jay was interested in studying marine biology, something which is taught at Scripps Institution of Oceanography. The 2 didn’t show up at the supplier and vanished into thin air, after getting on the ferry to Seattle, it seems that they were followed by an individual in a brown jacket who could easily have approached them, given George Hill Hodel's accurate knowledge of French. Given the indifference of the police, the searches were carried out by Tanya's father with the helicopter, but the area was too vast to give certain and immediate results. Tanya's body was found in a ditch on November 24, 1987 by a man who was looking for recycling materials near Parson Creek Road, between I-5 and I-9, a reference to Jack Parsons from the Agape Lodge of the OTO where Hodel's friend Baron Ernst Von Harringa was a member. The victim was raped, partially naked and tied with plastic ties, then killed with a .38 caliber gunshot to the back of the head. On November 26, Jay's body was found, not far from the Monroe Honor Farm prison, and under the High Bridge close to Crescent Lake Road in Monroe, a place chosen ritually, as it is located near a mooring for boats, on that day the moon was waning (in English waning crescent) and had Scorpio as its sign (source: https://mooncalendar.astro-seek.com/moon-phase-day-19-november-1987 ), the Zodiac sign that appears in the Dirty Harry (Zodiac) and Charlie Chan (Dr. Zodiac) films. The victim was then asphyxiated but was also brutally beaten and tortured, it seems she was even stoned, evidently the killers were annoyed that a very normal boy like Jay had a girlfriend. On November 25, the boys' van was found (full of blood and devastated) in the Blue Diamond parking lot between E Holly Street and N State Street in Bellingham. Some items such as plastic zip ties, Tanya's wallet, van keys and a surgeon's glove were previously found between Essie's Tavern and the Rumors Cabaret nightclub, located nearby on Railroad Avenue, near E Maple Street and N State Street. This paved the way for the killers to escape via South Hill to the Greyhound bus stop on Morris Avenue, near which is the mooring of the Zodiac Sailing Schooner, based on the movie “The Sea-Wolf.” by Jack London, itself based on the story that begins on a San Francisco ferry. The reference is to the sea wolf, for which Zodiac watches were built and it is no coincidence that due to Dante's law of retaliation both victims were killed by the Zodiac Killer. In fact, 4 months after the discovery of the bodies, the family began to receive anonymous letters from Zodiac George Hill Hodel. Former Jackson street resident Hodel (despite being free thanks also to the testimony of a Canadian, who has separated him from the official investigation into the Torso Killer) in his letters reveals his hatred towards Canadians and refers to Michael Jackson's Victory Tour (see https:// unsolved.com/gallery/jay-cook-and-tanya-van-cuylenborg/ ), to recall Othello's participation in the operation (it is no coincidence that the letters are sent both from New York and from Los Angeles and from Seattle, see https://unsolvedmysteries.fandom.com/wiki/Jay_Cook_and_Tanya_Van_Cuylenborg ), with Lawrence “Cane = Dog” Kane in the background. Jay's first and last name also reveals that the victim was not chosen at random, but was used to recall the kidnapping of Virginia Galvin Piper committed by Hodel and Fred Sexton in 1972, then leaving the rich woman in Jay Cooke State Park. When referring to steaks, Hodel uses the term “Wolfed” to recall the Sea-Wolf. The Zodiac boat was designed by William Hand, whose drawings are exhibited at MIT in Cambridge, something that an oceanographic expert like Othello could not fail to know, especially if he actually attended MIT, according to his bio. Before being used for public transportation, the boat was owned by Robert Wood Johnson and John Seward Johnson, descendants of the founder of Johnson & Johnson. John Seward was married to Ruth Dill, sister of Diana Douglas, ex-wife of Kirk Douglas, interpreter of Ulysses and linked to Hodel in the murder of Jean Elizabeth Spangler. In 1971 Robert Wood Johnson founded the Harbor Branch Organization in Fort Pierce, Florida, naturally with the aim of dealing with oceanography. Il corpo di Tanya è stato ritrovato in un fosso il 24 novembre 1987 da un signore che era andato a cercare materiali da riciclare nei pressi di Parson Creek Road, fra l’I-5 e l’I-9, un riferimento a Jack Parsons dall’Agape Lodge dell’OTO attorno a cui gravitava Baron Ernst Von Harringa, amico di Hodel. Anche il posizionamento del corpo di Jay è rituale: gli sono stati legati 2 collari di cane al collo e pure uno spago, gli sono stati anche infilati in gola un pacchetto di sigarette Camel Light e dei tessuti. La vittima è stata quindi asfissiata ma è anche stata brutalmente picchiata e torturata, pare sia addirittura stata lapidata, evidentemente ai killer dava fastidio che un ragazzo normalissimo come Jay avesse una fidanzata. Il 25 novembre viene ritrovato (pieno di sangue e devastato) il furgone dei ragazzi nel parcheggio Blue Diamond fra E Holly Street e N State Street a Bellingham. Alcuni oggetti come fascette di plastica, il portafoglio di Tanya, le chiavi del van ed un guanto da chirurgo sono stati in precedenza ritrovati fra l’Essie’s Tavern ed il locale notturno Rumors Cabaret, situato lì vicino in Railroad Avenue, nei pressi di E Maple Street e di N State Street. Ciò preparò la via di fuga per i killer passando per South Hill verso la fermata dell’autobus Greyhound in Morris Avenue, nei pressi di cui si trova l’ormeggio della barca a vela Zodiac Sailing Schooner, basata sul film “The Sea-Wolf” di Jack London, a sua volta tratto dalal storia che inizia su un traghetto di San Francisco. Il riferimento è al lupo di mare, per cui si sono costruiti orologi Zodiac e non a caso per la legge dantesca del contrappasso entrambe le vittime sono state uccise dagli Zodiac Killer. Infatti, 4 mesi dopo il ritrovamento dei corpi, la famiglia inizia a ricevere delle lettere anonime proprio da Zodiac George Hill Hodel. L’ex residente di Jackson street Hodel (nonostante sia libero grazie anche alla testimonianza di un canadese, che lo ha estraniato dall’indagine ufficiale sul Torso Killer) nelle lettere rivela il proprio odio verso i canadesi e fa riferimento al Victory Tour di Michael Jackson (vedi https://unsolved.com/gallery/jay-cook-and-tanya-van-cuylenborg/ ), per richiamare la partecipazione di Otello all’operazione (non a caso le lettere sono inviate sia da New York che da Los Angeles che da Seattle, vedi https://unsolvedmysteries.fandom.com/wiki/Jay_Cook_and_Tanya_Van_Cuylenborg ), con sullo sfondo Lawrence “Cane” Kane. Hodel indirizza le lettere al padre di Jay e lo prende in giro scrivendo di godersi appieno le bistecche mangiate dopo aver commesso il duplice delitto, applicando la legge dantesca del contrappasso, visto che “Cook” significa “cuoco”. Il nome e cognome di Jay rivela anche che la vittima non è stata scelta a caso, ma serviva per richiamare il rapimento di Virginia Galvin Piper commesso da Hodel e Fred Sexton nel 1972, lasciando poi la riccona nel Jay Cooke State Park. Nel riferimento alle bistecche, Hodel usa il termine “Wolfed” per richiamare per l’appunto il Sea-Wolf. Talbott aveva precedenti per aver stuprato la sorella e chiaramente non è un santo, però in questa vicenda un camionista come lui che all’epoca guidava un furgone delle consegne non dovrebbe essere figura d’interesse nel caso, d’altronde non è mica l’alchimista Edward Kelley detto Talbot ai tempi di John Dee. Su strategia difensiva senza senso degli avvocati, Talbott ha amesso che il DNA è il suo, in quanto avrebbe fatto sesso consensuale con Tanya, cosa alquanto inverosimile, visto che Jay non avrebbe accettato una simile situazione e certamente anche la stessa Tanya. In realtà il DNA è frutto di contaminazione anche questa volta, quindi Talbott così facendo purtroppo non avrà chance di evitare la condanna definitiva, pur non avendo commesso il fatto.
