WHO KILLED JAMES MICHAEL GARDNER?

The victim was hit by a barrage of 22 or 25 caliber bullets. The events occurred on August 7th, 1968 and the type of weapons is the same as those used in the family massacre Robison, in which the gardener had told his suspicions to the investigators. Hence the Zodiac Killer (George Hill Hodel) and his accomplices had to send a message to the gardener, killing a namesake for the law of retaliation. The Fountain factor is Hodel's signature in the murders of Georgette Bauerdorf, Elizabeth Short and in the Fontanine of Rabatta, as the fountain was present in his Franklin Sowden House, based on the design of the architect Frank Lloyd Wright (source: https://www.loc.gov/resource/hhh.ca0267.photos). Partly inspiring the murder may have been the 1968 film "The Committee" by Peter Sykes with actor Jimmy Gardner as the boss, in which a murder committed by the protagonist near a vehicle is documented, a protagonist who is caught by Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde-style guilt and even resurrects the victim.___

I fatti sono accaduti il 7 agosto 1968 ed il tipo di armi coincide con quelli usati nel massacro della famiglia Robison, in cui il giardiniere (che in inglese si traduce Gardner) aveva parlato dei propri sospetti agli inquirenti. Ecco quindi che lo Zodiac Killer (George Hill Hodel) e i suoi complici dovevano mandare un messaggio al giardiniere, uccidendo un omonimo per la legge del contrappasso. Il fattore Fountain (Fontana) è la firma di Hodel nei delitti di Georgette Bauerdorf, Elizabeth Short e nelle Fontanine di Rabatta, dato che la fontana era presente nella sua Franklin Sowden House, in base al progetto dell’architetto Frank Lloyd Wright (fonte: https://www.loc.gov/resource/hhh.ca0267.photos ). Ad ispirare parzialmente l’omicido può essere stato il film “The Committee” del 1968 di Peter Sykes con attore Jimmy Gardner nelle vesti del boss, in cui viene documentato un omicidio commesso dal protagonista nei pressi di un veicolo, un protagonista che è colto dai sensi di colpa in stile Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde e resuscita addirittura la vittima.
