Il 17 compare anche nella lettera di Zodiac del 13 marzo 1971 inviata per posta aerea, in cui il killer sostiene che finchè i poliziotti continueranno a suonare il violino lui avrebbe aumentato la collezione di schiavi, con il n. 17 che compare in calce alla lettera per indicare il n. delle vittime del killer, con riferimento al delitto di Cheri Jo Bates a Riverside.  In pratica, c’è la firma di Hodel. Fiddle (suonare il violino) significa anche swindle, come il cognome di una delle coppiette uccise da Zodiac nel 1964. L’ossessione per la Svizzera richiama anche la Swiss Villa ad Amphitheater Lampe in Missouri, dove avveniva il gioco più pericoloso, che consisteva nell’abbattere uno schiavo che tentava di fuggire per svelare segreti militari. Come riportato dalla whistleblower Cathy O’Brien in “Trance-Formation”, c’erano Alex Houston, agenti della CIA e politici (inclusi Bill Clinton e sua moglie Hillary) coinvolti in questo gioco, che ha molto ispirato Zodiac. La villa si trova nei pressi della Deer Crossing Ln. Deer (cervo) è associato sia al segno zodiacale dei Gemelli (Gemini) a livello esoterico che all’Apollo e non è una coincidenza che 2 dei principali programmi spaziali portino quei nomi. Il fattore Geiger compare anche in Susan Geiger, vittima sopravvissuta del torso killer del New Jersey del 1978, un’operazione di torture ufficialmente attribuita a Richard Cottingham a cui hanno partecipato Hodel, l’attore Sam Shamshak (interprete dello strangolatore vestito da Babbo Natale in un film di David Hess, detto David Dante, intitolato “buonanotte a tutti”) e gente dei servizi segreti, ma in prigione c’è finito Babbo Natale al posto del vero Cottingham.
