Morris sarebbe responsabile dei delitti di Texarkana ed è molto somigliante all’identikit di Zodiac, così come Hodel, che non avrebbe dovuto falsificare la morte a differenza di Morris e che legato al Messico dalle lettere del Black Dahlia Avenger e dalla residenza del compagno di merende Fred Sexton.

Secondo Gold, Morris è stato responsabile dell’omicio di Elizabeth Short (Black Dahlia), quindi è chiaro che non tutto è oro ciò che luccica, visto che in realtà sono stati Hodel e Sexton ad eliminare Elizabeth. Come svelato durante le indagini sull’omicidio di Geneva Elroy (avvenuto mediante strangolamento con corda dopo lo stupro), il nickname di Sexton era Lancillotto, personaggio in orbita Tavola Rotonda (riferimetno alla Pilgrims Society capeggiata dalla Regina Elisabetta II) che era stato allevato dalla donna del lago. Donna Lass significa Donna ragazza, richiama quindi fortemente la dama e mette in relazione Sexton come complice di Hodel nel delitto di Antonietta Longo (la signora del lago che richiama lungo, l’opposto di corto) lungo il lago Albano in Italia. Nel romanzo di Raymond Chandler “la signora del lago” del 1943, un investigatore privato (Philippe Marlowe, che è stato interpretato anche da Humprey Bogart, che ha collaborato con Fred Sexton e John Huston nel “Maltese Falcon”) si occupa della scomparsa di una Donna, che aveva mandato al marito un telegramma, sostenendo che si sarebbe recata in Messico per ottenere il divorzio. La donna viene poi viene uccisa nel lago dalla moglie di un certo Bill. L’ossessione per il corto (Short) spiega come mai lo stalker Lawrence Kane fosse in zona al momento del rapimento. Trattasi dello stesso Kane (nato col cognome di Klein = piccolo) che aveva rapito Kathleen Johns il 22 marzo 1970. Non a caso nella lettera del 22 marzo 1971 (data con somma delle cifre pari a 25, così come l’età di Donna Lass) Zodiac inserisce il n. 12 e riferimenti al Sierra Club e al lago Tahoe, scrivendo di gurdare fra i pini e di cercare fra la neve. Nei pressi del Sierra Club c’è la Clair Tappaan Lodge sita nel Donner Pass, poi c’è il Paradice Motel lungo il lago Tahoe. Il paradiso è l’ossessione di Zodiac in riferimento alla Divina Commedia dantesca e “dice” richiama il dado utilizzato nel gioco d’azzardo nei casinò. Anche l’incontro fra l’uomo e la donna (Adamo ed Eva) nel giardino dell’Eden sarebbe poi divenuto importante nei delitti del mostro di Firenze in seguito alla rappresentazione della Primavera del Botticelli.

Ci sono quindi molti indizi su dove potrebbe essere il corpo di Donna, ma non è mai stato ritrovato. Interesssante è anche l’intervista di Francesco Amicone al militare Joe Bevilacqua (coinvolto nel gruppo Zodiac col nome in codice di Ulisse) sul sito www.ostellovolante.com . A seguire l’indagine su Donna Lass è l’ex poliziotto Harvey Hines, che si è accorto che la scrittura di Kane è molto simile a quella sulla lettera ricevuta dalla sorella di Donna Lass nel 1974, con scritto “Santa Donna e il guardiano dei pini”, in cui pini (Pines) è anche l’abbreviazione di Philippines (Filippine). Come riportato da https://www.zodiacciphers.com/zodiac-news/guardian-of-the-pines , si sospetta che le lettere del 1974 siano state redatte con la collaborazione dell’esercito di liberazione simbionese, i guardiani dell’acqua legati alla famiglia Hearst, i re delle telecomunicazioni. Interessante anche sapere che l’auto di Donna Lass era una Chevrolet Camaro. Camaro significa “amico” e l’auto è ricollabile ad un delitto del 1995 commesso da Cory Maples. Tale Josephine B Haas potrebbe essere imparentata con George Haas, che ha posato col fondatore della chiesa di Satana LaVey. Da ricordare anche l’ossessione di Hodel, JB & Co. per il nome “Ann”, che compare anche in altri casi (Mary Ann Dalla Sala e Miriam Ana Escobar, con in evidenza la videocassetta inviata dal mostro di Firenze con la canzone “Anna” di Lucio Battisti).  Interessante sapere che Kane è anche il cognome del protagonista del celebre film “Quarto Potere” di Orson Welles e William Randolph Hearst, in cui si fa riferimento all’ordine della Rosa Rossa.
